Recommended Dosage
For most molding compounds — confirm against the TDS for your application.
| Compound | Part A (A3) | Part B (H350B) | Cure Conditions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard molding compounds | 0.3–0.5% | 0.8–1% | 130–175 °C · 10–500 s (adjust to part thickness) |
| Compounds below 40 Shore A | 0.5% | 1% | Recommended for softer, low-hardness gum |
Dark-colored compounds may require a higher Part A dosage — contact us for guidance before running black or deep-color parts. Standard packs are Part A 1 kg + Part B 5 kg; one set treats several hundred kilograms of compound — tell us your formulation and target volume and we will confirm the exact quantities for your trial.
Processing
Mix the base compound
Compound raw gum until uniform and smooth.
Add Part A and Part B together
Unlike the extrusion grade, A and B may be added at the same time. Mix until homogeneous.
Sheet out three times
Pass the compound through the mill three times to guarantee uniform dispersion.
Mold and cure
Compression molding at 130–175 °C, 10–500 s depending on part thickness.
⚠ Catalyst poisoning — read before use
Platinum catalysts are deactivated by sulfur, amines, phosphorus and tin compounds. Compound mixed with A/B must not be stored together with peroxides or raw rubber. Do not add the agent while mixer temperature exceeds 45 °C. See the Technical Guide.

Handling & Storage
- Store sealed below 28 °C in a cool, dark place
- Keep away from peroxides, raw rubber, and sulfur-, ammine- or tin-containing materials
- Compound containing A/B is workable for 10+ days — production can be scheduled without refrigerated storage
- For best surface quality, pair with FD-68 internal release agent
